At Kairos Initiative, we are driven by a deep passion for community transformation through economic empowerment, girl-child education, menstrual and sustainable agriculture. As we continue implementing our Backyard Sack Farming Project in Brishin Gandu a bold step toward curbing food insecurity we didn’t just see vegetables growing. We saw potential for sustainability. And so, the Village Savings and Loan Group (VSLG) was born.

A powerful community-led initiative designed to help men save, invest, and support one another as they grow together in resilience and purpose.

This VSLG wasn’t in the plan but it became the plan. It emerged as a response to a real need: How do we ensure this project lives beyond us? How do we sustain the impact?

This group is our answer. A way for beneficiaries and community members to take ownership, promote savings, and fuel economic progress from within.

Yes, we’re all about women and girls.

But we haven’t left our men behind.

They are part of the solution, and this VSLG proves that empowerment works best when it’s inclusive.

The Backyard Sack Farming continues.

The community is thriving.

The movement is growing.

Together, we are planting more than seeds we’re planting hope, stability, and a future that belongs to everyone.
